3 Day Military Diet – Entire Menu

The 3 day military diet is something that is supposed to help you lose weight very quickly. More specifically, lose 10 pounds in 3 days to a full week. Losing weight is not always an easy thing as you need to have some kind of motivation to stay on track and eating the right amounts and portions of certain meals along with exercise. They always say that abs are usually made in the kitchen.

The 3 day diet military diet plan isn’t so much fasting as some people may think it is because you should still be getting at least 3 meals in a day for your body to function properly. For example, on day 1 for breakfast of the military diet menu, you could have these three things:

  • 1/2 Grapefruit
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast with two tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of coffee or tea

Then for lunch you will want to have:

  • 1/2 cup tuna
  • 1 slice of toast
  • 1 cup of coffee or tea (with caffeine)

Then for dinner you will want to have this:

  • 3oz any type of meat
  • 1 cup of green beans
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream

The 3 day military diet has both pros and cons. One pro of this diet is that its simple. It’s an easy to make meal and unlike most diet plans, this one doesn’t include as much as a variety as just another regular diet does. After 2 or 3 days, a lot of people grow tired of their diet or already ready to give up and with this diet, its only 3 days. Another pro, which is probably the most obvious is that you’re supposed to lose weight faster.

There are always some kinds of precautions to take when looking at going on a diet. You should determine your health and find out if this diet would be necessary for you. As most things, there are cons and one con of the military diet plan is that you can’t have any artificial sweeteners. That means you can’t just eat a huge bowl of chocolate ice cream covered in chocolate syrup and sprinkles. Another con would be that in the 3 day military diet is that you cannot include snacks. So that means you can’t just sit on the couch watching television eating bags of potato chips.

The 3 day military diet is not something you should keep up with for more than 3 days. Also, keep in mind that losing weight quickly could also be a problem as you are most likely to lose water and lean muscle more then you would fat. It is also recommended that you drink as much water as you can so that it can help flush out toxins that are in your body. You should always be eating fewer calories more then you are trying to burn off. People may often wonder if you should exercise during this military diet and while it’s not something you absolutely have to do but its also not recommended to just sit on your butt and do nothing. Do something simple as taking a walk around the block a couple times or riding your bike for a few minutes. Start things out slow then gradually build yourself up. Get to know how your body works and what all it can handle.
